Jessica ᒦᖒᐊᖅᑏ Miinguuaqtii

REGIONAL DIRECTOR (STAFF)

Jessica ᒦᖒᐊᖅᑏ Miinguuaqtii is Inuk, Irish, Welsh, Métis and English and grew up within the stolen lands of the Halkomelem speaking peoples, commonly known as New Westminster, BC. Her Inuit ancestral homeland is the tundra outside of Rankin Inlet, NU and she currently lives nomadically as a visitor within various stolen Indigenous territories across what is commonly known as Canada. Jessica is passionate about trauma informed decolonial wellness practices, creative emotional expression and self awareness. These subjects are prominent in her visual art, storytelling and film projects, and her work as an educator, community builder and arts administrator. Inspired by all forms of creative expression and self discovery, Jessica is eager to be of service to others on their unique personal journeys. She is the Founder of 333 Alchemy, guiding non-clinical expressive arts workshops, courses and retreats, she is a Co-Founder of Raising Aunties, an all Indigenous women's arts collective, and she is the Regional Director of the Media Arts Alliance of the Pacific.
