Jessica ᒦᖒᐊᖅᑏ Miinguuaqtii (she/her) is an award-winning filmmaker, media artist, educator, and arts advocate of Inuit and settler descent based in Vancouver, BC. Her interdisciplinary practice explores memory, identity, kinship, and cultural continuity through documentary, experimental film, animation, and storytelling. Alongside her artistic work, Jessica supports artists through education, community-building, and arts administration, and currently serves as Regional Director of the Media Arts Alliance of the Pacific, a board member of the Independent Media Arts Alliance, and a steering committee member of the BC Coalition for Arts, Culture, and Heritage.
